Beschreibung des Kurses:

Based on general topics and the use of basic and advanced grammar structures, the students will learn and practice German as a Foreign Language following an initial CEFRL assessment test.

Course Objectives and Outcome:

After successful completion of this course the students will be able to,

  • use German as a Foreign Language on the corresponding CEFRL level. The qualifications aimed at correspond to the A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1 levels in accordance with the criteria of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).

Teaching Methods:

Interactive communication in the online learning program, intelligent speech recognition as preparation for communication training, additional exercises, vocabulary training, integration of learners into the course through tutors. Writing exercises for developing correspondence skills, e-mail question and answer options for language-relevant questions.

Course Content:

Depending on the chosen CEFRL level, the students will be enabled to: **


understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Introduce him/herself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.


understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.


understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Produce simple connected text on topics, which are familiar, or of personal interest. Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.


understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization. Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and Independent disadvantages of various options.


understand a wide range of sophisticated, longer texts and to grasp implicit meanings. They can express themselves spontaneously and fluently, without having to search for words more clearly. They can use the language effectively and flexibly in their social and professional life or in education and study. They can speak clearly, in a structured manner and in detail about complex issues, using various means of linking text appropriately.
